Reviews

Goody headband

(black/purple) ($6 retail)

Features: Ouchless headwrap, reversible for 2 different looks, moisture-wicking fabric to keep you dry, holds back flyaways,

I haven't even touched it yet. I'm not a terribly sporty girl right now!

Goody Quickstyle Hairbrush

($12.99 retail)

Features: microfiber bristles are protected by antimicrobial properties to inhibit the growth of mold or mildew from forming on the brush, dries hair 30% faster, for all hair tyes

Yes, I tried this one. I have wanted to try one for a long time, but I was a little disappointed. I didn't notice a significant change in dry time. Not sure why. I could have to do with the fact that I have hair over 20 inches long. Who knows?!

On a lighter note, it was a really good brush to use. The bristles were firm but yielding, the plastic balls on the bristles didn't break off easily, and it had a lot of coverage.

SoyJoy

($0.99 retail)

Features: all natural soy, lots of vitamins, etc.

Soyjoy ... what to say, what to say ...
Well, I will come right out with it. If you are a health nut and enjoy foods that taste bad, this is for you. No, the bar didn't taste terrible, but it was borderline diet food. All you ladies out there know what I'm talking about!
The bars really are very good for you, having a TON of potassium, fiber, and iron, but the texture, for me, was very hard to get over. It says on the package "moist" ... but its borderline "not" dry.
Its chewy, which wasn't so bad. The smell was just fine, and the retail price is minimal. But. Eh.

... Yeah, just eh.

Sally Hansen Triple Shine Nail Polish

($4.99 retail)

This was my absolute favorite item! I love getting nail polish!

Reasons I love Sally Hansen's new polish:
  1. It dries quickly.
  2. It lasts.
  3. The brush is WIDE. It covers my entire nail in a single stroke!
  4. When I need to take it off, it reacts well with the polish remover.
  5. The color (reef-rat) goes well with my collection.
I wouldn't buy it at $5 a pop, BUT I will be waiting for it to come on sale!!!

If you want to see more colors and examples of this polish (like I did), I compiled a pintrest board with a TON of examples on it.
